An extensive two-month voyage through the Australian Coast was terminated in the wake of the tragic passing of an elderly woman who was left behind by the vessel on a isolated coastal location.

The passenger had been trekking on Lizard Island with shipmates from the vessel, but parted ways from the group for a pause. The ship departed without her and came back after some time after the personnel discovered the lady was unaccounted for.

An extensive hunt found her remains the next day.
